Hello everyone, I’m Sloane Kennedy

I’m an independent gay romance novelist. Despite having been in the business since 2015 and taking it full-time in 2017, every day feels like a dream. I mean, how many people get to sit at home in their jammies and write HEAs for a score of sexy men (and a couple women)?

When I’m not writing, I’m taking care of my 7 cats, 3 dogs and 2 horses. While personal and medical issues have plagued me for the past few years, I finally feel like I’m getting back on track. I’m already planning my next book (and the one after that and the one after that… you get my gist).

None of this would be possible without the support and loyalty of my readers. I have over 50 books out there and I know there are many, many readers who read the books at least more than once. Those readers are also sharp enough to pick up on secondary characters that play a brief role in a book and immediately ask when that character gets his own book. The fact that not only do my readers recall these characters, they actually reach out to me years after the original story to ask me when the aforementioned second character’s story is come.

If I don’t know what a better compliment there is than that…
I’m so grateful to be a part of this community but more importantly, it warms my heart to know when a book hits a mark with someone dealing with similar issues. Knowing the story that rumbled around in my head for ultimately ending up changing someone’s life… there’s just no words except to say I’m glad I can be a voice for those who need it.
